My dear friends and fans!

Outstanding, excellent, unique, impressive: these are only a few among the words you chose to describe VeniceArrhythmias 2009 with! ... and THANKS SO MUCH for your kind appreciation!

Our last edition came to its end just a few days ago, but I’m quite sure its echo will keep on spreading all around the world for a long time – let me say our success has been MASSIVE!

First, let me say it has really been a top edition in terms of participation: more than 3,000 participants coming from more than 60 countries from every corner of the world – how about that?
Moreover, I must admit I was particularly satisfied with the great appreciation given to our prestigious Faculty and to our exhaustive Scientific Program – undoubtedly two among the key features of our workshop, which have always been central through the years, providing our attendees and friends with the chance to meet no less then the most renowned leaders in the field of arrhythmology and cardiology in general, the highly qualified, prestigious Faculty and Scientific Program.
A very special mention goes to Exhibitors, too: we’ve been particularly delighted to host many among the top companies on an international level, and expect them all to be with us for our next edition – thank you all!

Then again, the constantly lively, mutual exchange of information between the participants, framed by the jaw-dropping splendour of the Congress venue, has been another important point, socialization has been particularly encouraged by the diversely exquisite Social Events, linking our Workshop with Fine Arts and music – art exhibitions, a great Concert, the wonderful Gala Dinner hosted in the magic atmosphere of the Scola Grande of San Giovanni Evangelista.

... and then of course, there’s VENICE.
The most beautiful town in the world, whose beauty this year has been particularly enlivened by the warm October sun, functioned as the perfect background for the event – with all its majesty, uniqueness and breath-taking, eternal charme.

All right then, did I forget anything? WELL, OF COURSE: THERE’S ME!
It was a great pleasure to be with you in the flesh - well, actually in the fur... for these four days, and I was really happy to shake hands, provide useful information and participate to the most important moments of the event itself.

Let me say I was particularly touched by the GREAT SUCCESS my participation had – oh, and by the way, to all my fans: don’t worry, keep on following me & VeniceArrhythmias and sooner or later you’ll be given the chance to have my autograph!
